Attacking midfield player Alex Pritchard has been named as the eighth best player in the Sky Bet Championship.
For the Football League Awards – held on Sunday, April 19 – every Championship boss was asked to list the best five players in the division.
A list was then compiled of the top ten players.
The winner of the poll was named at the awards and Middlesbrough striker Patrick Bamford, on loan from Chelsea, took the prize with Ipswich Town’s Daryl Murphy and Watford striker Troy Deeney in second and third.
The rest of the top ten was announced this afternoon and Alex was at number eight on the list.
The 21-year-old has spent the season at Brentford on loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
He has played 43 games and contributed 11 goals, all in the Sky Bet Championship.
Alex has also racked up a further nine assists.
