Club apologises for issues surrounding yesterday's fixture

Brentford Football Club would like to apologise to all supporters affected by the delays distributing season tickets and the unusually long waiting times for collections and reprints when arriving at the ground yesterday.

We acknowledge that the transition process has not worked as well as it should have. We are well aware of the frustration that can be caused for fans that have bought Memberships and Season Tickets and do not have them in their hands on the first day of the season. We thank supporters for their understanding over the past few weeks and for working with us to make the entry process for Saturday’s match against Rotherham United as smooth as possible, especially in view of the high number of matchday walk-ups for yesterday’s game which put extra strain on our resources.

We are continuing to work closely with our partners, to ensure that any problems encountered by fans when entering the ground are resolved. By the time we play Sheffield Wednesday, the system will be working as it should and we are sure, in time, fans will see why the Club made the ticketing provider switch. Tickets are now on sale for our next home game, against Sheffield Wednesday on Sunday 19 August, and for upcoming away games against Stoke City, Southend United and Aston Villa. Over the next two weeks, before the Sheffield Wednesday fixture, all supporters who have not yet received their Season Cards or Membership Cards for the new season will do so. Fans are reminded that if they have not changed seats, age or price bands then they will not receive a new card. If any fan has misplaced or thrown their card away, please contact the Ticket Office as soon as possible to arrange for a replacement.
