Known for his aggressive style and physical dominance at the heart of the Bees defence, Staitham Bowen joined the Bees from Burnley
Bowen began his career playing for Oldham before moving on to Liverpool and Burnley. His development across these clubs eventually brought him to Brentford, where he now plays for the Under-18s.
In his first season as a scholar, Staitham made 14 appearances for the Under-18s, scoring one goal.
He is determined to bring his aggression and chance-creating abilities to the first team in the future, with his dad being the biggest influence on his football development.
Training alongside the first team at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre has also taught him the critical importance of set pieces, and he credits Brentford with helping him develop both technically and physically, making him a stronger and more well-rounded player.
