Romelle Donovan joined Brentford on a five-year deal from Birmingham City in June 2025.

The attacking midfielder initially signed for Brentford B on loan in February and played a big part in a successful end to the season for Neil MacFarlane's side.

He made 15 appearances for the young Bees in the second half of the 2024/25 season, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists.

Those eye-catching performances earned him a permanent move to west London, as well as a promotion to the first-team squad.

Prior to joining Brentford B, Donovan had spent the first half of that campaign on loan at League One side Burton Albion.

He played nine times for the Brewers, with his first goal in senior football coming in his final outing, a 5-2 Football League Trophy win at Northampton Town.

The exciting teenager, who also made 10 appearances for Birmingham across the Championship and FA Cup during 2023/24, has also represented England at Under-18s and Under-19s level.
