A talented left-back, Nathaniel Ogungbemi joined a new cohort of scholars ahead of the 2025/26 season.

Following a spell with Liverpool, Ogungbemi joined Brentford Academy and immediately impressed, showing maturity beyond his years.

He carried that form into his first Professional Development League campaign with the Under-18s, regularly starting for Gary McDermott's side, providing a strong presence in the backline.

Ogungbemi scored his first goal in red and white in a 3-1 PDL win at home to Crewe Under-18s. He ended the campaign with four goals and four assists.

The defender started in the FA Youth Cup against Chelsea and also stepped into Sam Saunders' Under-21s set-up, making his debut in a 2-1 win over Barnsley away from home.

Ogungbemi also featured for the B team in their 2-1 win over AS Monaco away from home, against a side featuring Paul Pogba and Eric Dier.
