A versatile and athletic defender, Joseph Wheeler-Henry made the permanent move to Brentford B in the summer of 2026.

Wheeler-Henry initially joined the Bees from Chelsea on loan in the second half of the 2025/26 season, but made the move permanent ahead of the 2026/27 campaign.

After joining the west Londoners on loan in February 2026, the defender impressed immediately, picking up two assists in a Professional Development League win over QPR and a third assist in a loss to Millwall.

He picked up a further three assists across the remainder of the season as the Bees went on to win the PDL title for a second-consecutive season.

Wheeler-Henry made the move to west London permanent in July 2026.
