Jaidon Anthony signed for Brentford from Burnley for an undisclosed fee in July 2026.

The 26-year-old forward penned a four-year deal at the Bees, with a club option of a further year.

Born in Hackney, Anthony spent 10 years in Arsenal’s academy before joining the youth ranks at Bournemouth following a successful trial period.

His first taste of senior football came in the National League South with Weymouth, who he joined on loan for the second half of the 2019/2020 season.

Anthony made three appearances before football was paused due to the Covid-19 pandemic, but then made a telling impact to help the Terras end an 11-year absence from the National League via the play-offs – scoring in a 3-2 semi-final win against Dorking before converting a penalty in a shoot-out victory against Dartford in the final.

He returned to Bournemouth and marked his Cherries debut with an assist in a 3-2 loss against Preston in December 2020.

Six more appearances followed that year across the Championship and FA Cup, before he established himself as a regular in 2021/22.

In a campaign which saw the Cherries return to the Premier League at the second time of asking, Anthony missed just one Championship game, scoring eight goals and providing six assists as Scott Parker’s side finished as runners-up.

The exciting winger featured prominently in the following campaign, too, making 30 league appearances – scoring three goals - to help Bournemouth secure a 15th-placed finish.

Anthony spent 2023/24 on loan at Leeds United as the Whites fell short of automatic promotion, ending the regular season in third, before losing 1-0 to Southampton at Wembley Stadium in the play-off final.

In the following campaign, he excelled on a season-long loan at Burnley, securing a second-career promotion to the top flight after 15 direct goal involvements in 43 outings saw the Clarets finish second with 100 points, behind Leeds on goal difference.

That temporary move was made permanent in May 2025 and in 2025/26, he played in all bar one of Burnley’s Premier League games, scoring eight times – including a strike against Brentford at Turf Moor in February - and contributing four assists.
