Attacking midfielder Jai Bansoodeb joined the Bees following a successful trial and was later rewarded with a scholar ahead of the 2025/26 season. 

With previous spells at Chelsea and Sutton United under his belt, the attacking midfielder brings with him technical quality, goalscoring instinct and a dynamic style of play. 

Bansoodeb is comfortable in possession and controls the midfield strongly, boasting the unique ability of being able to use both feet with equal aptitude.

The first-year scholar had a brilliant first season with the Bees, breaking the 20 goal contribution mark with 12 goals and nine assists, including a wonderful volley to win the Under-17 Professional Development Shield, a strike that was nominated for the club's goal of the season.

He also made his debut for U.S.A. Under-17s against Paraguay and has big ambitions to represent his country at the U17 World Cup.
