Isaiah Powis is a rising talent in Brentford’s U18s team, having developed through the youth setups of Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday before making the move to the Bees.

A powerful defender, Isaiah's playing style can be described as a "destroyer" who plays with a "rash" and "physical" presence on the pitch, dominating the defensive lines.

Off the pitch, Isaiah keeps it energetic, getting into game mode with tracks from Lil Baby and when asked to sum up his experience at the club, he emphasises the mantra "Run hard, play hard." This captures his work ethic and determination to excel at every opportunity.

His primary goal for the season is to lift a cup with his teammates, as they push for success in the youth competitions. Influenced strongly by his uncles, Isaiah has taken their lessons to heart, honing his craft to provide strong defensive coverage, which he believes will be a key asset to the club in years to come.

Training at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre alongside the first team has given Isaiah invaluable insights, teaching him the finer details of his role and preparing him for the step up to senior football. Looking ahead, he aims to be a solid presence for Brentford’s future, ready to deliver on and off the ball with his commanding defensive abilities.
