Enrique Roca is an exciting young talent who joined Brentford’s U18s after spending his early career at Manchester City’s academy, where he signed his first contract at just nine years old.

Known for his technical ability, Roca has a flair for creating chances and assisting his teammates, a style that his U18 teammates describe as technical, creative, and assisting.

Off the pitch, Enrique enjoys listening to Drake to get in the zone before matches, and his go-to initiation song is the Britpop classic Wonderwall by Oasis. His dream five-a-side team is stacked with legends, featuring Manuel Neuer, Sergio Ramos, Andrés Iniesta, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.

One of Enrique's proudest moments came when he scored a crucial free kick to win a match, showcasing his set-piece prowess—a skill he continues to hone at Brentford. Reflecting on his time with the club, he credits the environment at Brentford for teaching him the value of hard work, something he has witnessed firsthand from training alongside first-team players at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre.

Currently recovering from injury, Enrique has set his sights on training regularly with the B team and helping his side finish at the top of the league while winning the U17 Premier League Cup. Looking forward, he’s determined to continue developing his technical abilities and contribute to the club with his creativity and sharp set-piece skills.
