A dynamic and agile defender, Benjamin Fredrick made the move to west London in August 2023.
Fredrick initially linked up with the Brentford B on loan from Nigerian side Simoiben FC until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The move was made permanent in April 2024 and Fredrick has gone from strength-to-strength ever since.
Fredrick starred for the young Bees across the 2024/25 season, winning the B team Players' Player of the Year award.
The defender played a key role in Brentford's run to the Under-21 Professional Development League national title. Fredrick scored in the west Londoners' 2-1 extra-time win over Sheffield United in the semi-final, before playing a key role in their 3-2 win over Bournemouth in the final.
Fredrick also featured prominently for the Bees as they made the Premier League Cup final, which resulted in a 3-1 loss to west London rivals QPR at Loftus Road.
In the summer of 2025, Fredrick was rewarded for his strong form as he embarked on a season-long loan with Belgian Pro League side FCV Dender.
Fredrick has also made the step up to international football, featuring regularly for Nigeria. The defender made his debut in the Unity Cup in May 2025 at Gtech Community Stadium, a 5-4 win on penalties over Jamaica after the game ended 2-2.
