Brentford’s Youth Team will play their Under-18 Professional Development League Two Semi-Final this afternoon.
The Bees finished second in the southern section of the Under-18 league this season, taking 54 points from their 27 games.
They looked set to win the league as they topped the table for much of the campaign and were unbeaten in their last 11 games, a run that stretches back to January 10.
But draws in their last two games left the door ajar and Charlton Athletic took the title by two points after winning their last eight games.
That gave The Bees an away Semi-Final against northern section winners Huddersfield Town.
The match will be played today, Monday April 27, at Huddersfield’s John Smith’s Stadium and will kick-off at 2pm.
Supporters can watch the match and admission will be £4 for adults and £2 for concessions.
Huddersfield took 52 points from their 26 games to beat Nottingham Forest to the northern title.
They won their last four games to climb to the top of the table.
Huddersfield also beat The Bees 3-0 when the teams met in Yorkshire earlier in the season.
There must be a winner on the day with extra-time and penalties used if needed.
The successful team will play Charlton in the Under-18 Professional Development League Two Final after the South London side beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
