Brentford Griffins secured a win in their opening game of 2015 as they beat Wealdstone 3-1 at Osterley Sports Club on Wednesday afternoon.
The Griffins, one of two new sides formed by a partnership between Brentford's Category Two Academy and West Thames College, hadn't played a league game in nearly two months around the Christmas period.
Any rustiness was quickly dispelled as a brace from Noah Amissah and one from George Ademiluyi secured a comfortable win for The Griffins.
The result means that The Griffins have now picked up three wins from their last four matches to sit seventh in the Football Conference Youth Alliance London/South East Divison but with games in hand on all the sides above them.
Next up for Dan Wright's side is a trip to Luton Town Cedars, who currently sit third in the table, on Friday.
The Griffins sister side The Brentford Bees did not have a fixture this week and remain sixth in the Home Counties/South West Division ahead of next Wednesday's trip to to the south coast to take on Gosport Borough.
