Brentford's Youth Alliance team ended 2014 on a high with a comfortable 5-1 win over Oxford United at Osterley Sports Club.
The result never looked in doubt as Henrique Fernandes put The Bees 2-0 up with a quickfire double at the end of the first-half.
Oxford halved the arrears from a corner three minutes before the break but The Bees struck twice in the dying seconds of the half.
Firstly Harry Ratcliffe whipped a free-kick in from a tight angle before Connor Cullen's corner snuck in at the near post.
The Bees continued to pile forward in the second-half on a pitch that was becoming increasingly heavy and bobbly.
Levi Phillips grabbed a superb individual fifth midway through the second-half beating three Oxford defenders before slotting home from close range.
Despite creating a number of further chances The Bees couldn't find a sixth but the win did move them up to 5th in the table on the back of three straight wins.
The Bees are next in action on January 7th when they travel to league leaders Southampton (Bath).
Brentford Griffins were not in action last week and have to wait until January 14th for their next match, away at Tooting and Mitcham United FC.
