Brentford Women complete their pre-season schedule on Sunday afternoon as they take on National League side London Seaward at Bedfont Sports Club in a 3pm kick-off.
Our first team have currently played three times in a pre-season period which included a 5-0 win over Ascot United as they prepare for next weekend’s league opener against Hounslow Women’s.
Karleigh Osborne’s side have tested themselves against three teams who play in divisions above during pre-season and will face the same fate on Sunday as they come up against tier-four opposition.
The first team have brought in six new players in the summer and have been training three times a week in preparation for the new season including sessions at the Robert Rowan Performance Centre.
Last time out
Brentford were narrowly beaten in their last fixture against National League outfit Maidenhead United.
After finding themselves two goals behind going into the break, the Bees got themselves back into the game just three minutes after the interval with Chloe Logie scoring her fifth goal in just two games.
Maidenhead made it 3-1 moments later however, with a late Sophie Troth strike coming too late as the step four side left with the win.

About London Seaward
London Seaward play in the Women’s National League Division One South East where they finished in fifth place last season picking up 29 points from 18 games.
B team also in action
Our B team play their first friendly of pre-season on Sunday as they take on tier five outfit Hammersmith Ladies at Gunnersbury Park in a 4.30pm kick-off.
The side have made four new additions in the summer following their second-place finish in the Greater London Women’s Football League Division One North last season as Tommy Ryan-Maynard’s team will be looking to go one step further in the new campaign which begins on Sunday 3 September.
The B team face a Hammersmith side who will ply their trade in the division above the Bees next season after winning the Division One South League in the 2022/23 campaign.
