Brentford striker Will Grigg, currently on loan at Milton Keynes Dons, sat out Northern Ireland’s European Championships qualifying win last night.
The striker was not named in the match day squad for Northern Ireland’s match against Faroe Islands.
Northern Ireland won the game 2-0 in Belfast yesterday evening, Saturday October 11.
It was their second win in two matches in Group F after a victory in Hungary last month.
They will be looking to make it three in three away in Greece on Tuesday, October 14.
Northern Ireland will also be competing with Romania and Finland for a place in the finals in France in the summer of 2016.
Will, who joined The Bees last summer after leaving Walsall, has made five appearances for Northern Ireland, three of which have been since arriving at Griffin Park.
He has also played for Northern Ireland at Under-19 and Under-21 level.
Will played 36 games for Brentford last season, 34 in League One, and scored five league goals.
He has played 11 times for MK Dons and scored six goals.
