Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler said there would be no criticism of individuals after the 2-0 defeat to Milton Keynes Dons.
The Bees were beaten in Buckinghamshire to end a three-match winning run.
Uwe, speaking after the match, said his team had complete control but MK scored the only goals of the game.
They took the lead when a Dean Bowditch shot dipped, swerved and bounced through Simon Moore and in to the net.
Although The Bees had chances before and after the goal they could not find a way through and Stephen Gleeson sealed the win when he smashed in from 20 yards.
Uwe said he took responsibility for the result and the finger would not be pointed at individuals.
“We will win together and lose together,” he said.
“I will take responsibility for the result.
“I felt we were more than in control today.
“The first goal is always important and Simon Moore has been terrific for us this season.
“He is a young player and is allowed to make mistakes – hopefully not too many.
“I will not blame him at all.
“He has been fantastic this season.
“I was disappointed with one or two players, the majority did very well.
“I have never seen us have so much control when we have played in this stadium.
“MK Dons did not look like scoring goals.
“We missed a few chances, especially in the second half.
“It was disappointing to go in at half time 1-0 down when we had so much dominance.”
Brentford started with Marcello Trotta as the central striker in a 4-2-3-1 system using the same XI that started when they beat MK Dons 3-2 at Griffin Park in December.
Bradley Wright-Phillips, Antonio German and Sam Saunders were all introduced – replacing Marcello Trotta, Clayton Donaldson and Harry Forrester respectively – as The Bees sought a goal.
Uwe said he would go through the match with the players during the next few days and discuss it internally.
“I will not analyse each player in public now,” he said.
“There was a reason why I made my substitutions.
“I will not do that now.
“We win together and lose together and we will not blame players in public.
“In the dressing room I will say what I have to.
“When we look at the game we will analyse the performance, effort, desire and quality of every player.
“That will be done internally.”
The Bees sit third in npower League One with six games remaining and have played fewer than the two teams above them – Doncaster Rovers and AFC Bournemouth.
Four of Brentford’s six remaining games are away from home and Uwe said they had to produce better performances on the road.
“We have to play better away from home,” he said.
“Teams sometimes give us the initiative and we are being a bit naïve.
“I couldn’t believe we had so much control today but lost the game.
“They had two shots from outside the box and scored; we had a number of shots and didn’t really look like scoring from outside the box.
“We might need to do some shooting sessions.”
