Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler said his players deserve to play in front of a capacity crowd tomorrow.
The Bees entertain Stevenage at Griffin Park in an npower League One match that kicks off at 3pm and a large crowd is anticipated.
All match tickets were available on a ‘Pay What You Can’ basis and very few now remain.
They will watch as Brentford, second in npower League One, look to build on a nine-match unbeaten league run and four straight league wins.
They will face Stevenage, who are sixth in League One, and if results go their way over the weekend, can climb to the top of the table.
“The players deserve the crowd,” said Uwe, speaking to Bees Player.
“It will be the first time since I have been here that the stadium will be full.
“It is very good timing for us.
“The players will feel an extra motivation.
“There will be a focus from our supporters and also from the media.
“It is a good thing; we can show how good we can be.
“We will face a strong team.
“They are in the same region as we are; we need the five to ten per cent from the crowd.”
As well as their good league run, Brentford have also reached the Third Round of the FA Cup with Budweiser.
The Bees beat Bradford City 4-2 after extra time in a Second Round Replay on Tuesday night and will face Southend United in the Third Round in January.
Uwe said his players could have done without playing 120 minutes on Tuesday but it was important to win the game and the Griffin Park crowd can help them through the pain.
“It was not what we wanted, but it was very important to end the 120 minutes with a win,” he said.
“That makes it much easier to prepare for a tough game.
“The players are motivated, the stadium will be full and I don’t think they will feel the pain.
“Adrenaline will help them through.
“When you are on a bad run, the legs feel heavy.
“When things go your way, you have the momentum is on your side, the pain is more bearable.”
Brentford were beaten home and away by Stevenage last season – albeit The Bees missed two penalties in losing in Hertfordshire.
Uwe said both teams have moved on since then and it was a game where the first goal would be crucial.
“Stevenage have moved on, we have moved on,” he said.
“You can’t compare the teams from last year.
“They play a different style, in many ways they are like us.
“They press well; they are energetic and hard to beat.
“There is not a lot of room for mistakes.
“The team that scores the first goal will most likely be the winner.
“After playing 120 minutes we don’t need to chase the game.
“It’s important we score the first goal.”
Brentford play five games in 15 days between December 22 and January 5 and Uwe said he has planned for it.
He said it was good to have players back from injury and that Jake Reeves had returned from a loan spell at AFC Wimbledon.
“You have to plan one or two games ahead,” he said.
“We have to use the squad in the right way.
“Tom Adeyemi is now back, as are Leon Legge and Scott Barron.
“Jake Reeves has returned from AFC Wimbledon.
“I will use them.”
Once the Christmas period is out of the way, the January Transfer Window will open.
Uwe said he had not really thought about that period and wanted to keep his squad largely unchanged.
“Our players are contracted and we are looking to keep our loan players here longer,” he said.
“If we are not successful, we will go somewhere else.
“I don’t think there will be a massive number of players going in or out.
“I want to keep what I have; it has worked well so far.”
