Brentford Manager Mark Warburton said he expected Wolverhampton Wanderers to look to right the wrong of a heavy defeat at Griffin Park when the teams meet again this afternoon.
The Bees beat Wolves 4-0 in West London last month and head north today, Sunday December 28, for the return fixture.
Brentford go to Molineux fifth in the Sky Bet Championship after defeat to Ipswich Town on Boxing Day while Wolves won at Watford to move four places and six points behind.
Mark said his team needed to go to Molineux and impose their style of play on Kenny Jackett's outfit.
“We took the spoils when they came here and I am sure Kenny and his side will be keen to right that one,” said the Brentford boss, speaking to Bees Player after defeat to Ipswich.
“We know what we have to do.
“It is a great stadium and a big pitch, we have to go there and impose our style on the game.”
Mark said it was good to have a game so quickly after the 4-2 loss to Ipswich.
He added his squad picked up no new injuries.
“It is never good to lose but it is nice to be able to rectify it,” said Mark.
“We came through the game with no injuries.
“We took a couple of players off to look after them.
“But that is the only positive.”
Mark has used just 12 starting players in Brentford’s last nine matches, of which they have won seven.
He indicated he may make changes for the match at Wolves with so little recovery time.
“We have to look at the squad,” said Mark.
“Players may be fine now but legs can get weary at the end of the season.
“We have no international break now until the end of March.
“We have to try and utilise the squad.
“We need players ready when we call on them, we can’t ask them to step in having not played for two months, we have to be fair.
“We have to try and find the balance.”
Sam Saunders also looked ahead to the Wolves match after the Ipswich loss.
“Playing so quickly gives you no time to think about today, we have to focus on Wolves,” he said.
“Today has gone and we have to try to get the points there.”
This will be the fourth match between the teams in 13 months.
Both teams have won one at Griffin Park and Brentford’s previous visit to Molineux ended in a 0-0 draw last November.
“The previous games won’t mean anything,” said Sam.
“They are playing at Watford today, a tough game; we had a tough game here.
“It will be tough at Molineux and it will be about who prepares best.
“It will be a fiery atmosphere, lots to play for and the boys can’t wait to put thing right.”
Sam added: “Games like that is why we were desperate to get promoted.
“We loved a packed house.
“We didn’t get the result today but this is why we want to keep improving.”
