Uwe Rösler said he wanted his Brentford team to continue their good form when playing in front of the Sky cameras.
The Bees travel to Leyton Orient tonight for a match that will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Last season, Uwe’s side beat Charlton Athletic 3-0 and Carlisle United 4-0 in matches broadcast live and were 2-0 up against Huddersfield Town before a referee’s decision changed the course of the match.
Brentford Manager Uwe his team relished the chance to show what they can do in front of a national audience.
“We are really looking forward to playing on Sky,” said Uwe, speaking to Bees Player.
“It is not often we can play on national TV, to a nationwide audience.
“We can present ourselves as a strong team and individually we can make people aware of us.
“It’s a derby game; our supporters will come in good numbers.
“It is an evening game, adrenaline will be high and we are all looking forward to it.
“Last year we really enjoyed playing in front of Sky.
“There was lots of entertainment for them, we scored a number of goals and generally we were very good.
“Hopefully we carry that on.”
Brentford were beaten 2-0 by Orient in March and Uwe said his team wanted to put that right on their next trip to East London.
The Bees sit seventh in League One and Orient 21st but Uwe said that was irrelevant at this stage and the home side would come in to the game on the back of a win away to big-spending Swindon Town.
“Last year we had one of our worst away performances against Leyton Orient,” he said.
“This year we want to make that up.
“We are going for three points.
“Last year will make us aware we will play against a team that will cause us problems.
“We can’t look at the table; it’s false at the moment.
“We meet a team that has just won at Swindon.
“Add in that we had problems at their place last season and that is enough motivation for us.”
Brentford won last time out as Farid El Alagui scored an 88th minute goal to beat Colchester United.
Uwe praised his players for going to the end to score the only goal against the Essex side and said they would need to do the same against Orient.
“It was very important,” he said.
“Looking at the game and the stats, we would have been very disappointed if we had not won.
“When we have 20 attempts on goal and four or five times alone on the goalkeeper, you deserve to win the game.
“But football is not always fair.
“Big compliments to the players, we forced ourselves to three points by never giving up.
“All credit to the players; we will need the same fighting spirit on Thursday.”
