Manager Uwe Rösler gave his reaction to the draw with ZFC Meuselwitz on the opening game of Brentford's German tour.
He described the game as a "very good work out; exactly what we needed and what I hoped we would get.
"It was another game where we were so dominant we should have been four, five up; giving three or four minutes before the end a goal like this away is a little typical.
"We have to be more clinical but when you have a lot of young players, obviously you have to calculate that in - in pre-season that's OK - but we have to use our chances as today we had an enormous amount of good chances."
It was a return to a part of Germany that the manager knows well, having been raised only a few miles from the stadium venue and he was quick to praise the generosity of the hosts, ZFC Meuselwitz.
"My mother still lives here and it was nice for me to come back, especially when you're coming back to a football club in such good condition [with a] nice stadium and nice pitch.
"We always felt welcome from the first minute we arrived and our supporters enjoyed it."
