Brentford Development Squad midfield player Tyrell Miller-Rodney has extended his loan at Maidenhead United.
The 20-year-old joined the Vanarama Conference South side on loan last month.
The deal was due to expire today, Tuesday March 24, but it has now been extended until Thursday April 23.
Tyrell has played five games for Maidenhead in his second loan spell with the Berkshire side, he also played seven games for them last term.
Ose Aibangee, Brentford FC Academy Director, said: “Tyrell is at the stage of his development where he needs to play competitive First Team football.
“Maidenhead have given him that chance and I am pleased that he has taken it and secured a spot in the team.
“He is playing a decent standard and getting lots of minutes on the pitch, which will help his career.
“Maidenhead are a good club and they help develop our players.
“I am sure Tyrell will continue to represent both them and us well between now and the end of the season.”
Tyrell joined Brentford on a scholarship in 2011, came through the Youth Team ranks and signed a one-year professional deal in 2013 before extending it last summer.
He played 11 Development Squad games in 2012/13 and made nine appearances in the Under-21 Professional Development League Two South in 2013/14, scoring twice.
The combative midfielder was an unused substitute in Brentford’s Capital One Cup defeat away at Derby County in August 2013, his first taste of First Team action.
He has played ten Under-21 league games this season, scoring once.
