Brentford’s long unbeaten run has been recognised as the November npower League One Manager of the Month and Player of the Month nominations have been announced.
Brentford boss Uwe Rösler has been nominated for the Manager of the Month prize and goalkeeper Simon Moore has been nominated for the Player of the Month award.
The Manager of the Month award is decided by former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Sponsorship Manager Emma Collins.
The Player of the Month panel sees Emma Collins joined by former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Don Goodman, BBC Sport’s Mark Clemmit and The Football League’s Head of Communications John Nagle.
Uwe has been nominated alongside Milton Keynes Dons Manager Karl Robinson and AFC Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe.
In November, The Bees picked up 13 points in npower League One from a possible 15.
They won away to Portsmouth and Swindon Town and beat Carlisle United and Sheffield United at home as well as picking up a point in a 1-1 draw away to Preston North End.
Brentford also beat Boreham Wood in the FA Cup with Budweiser First Round and drew 1-1 with Bradford City in the Second Round.
The Bees are now unbeaten in eight npower League One matches, winning six of them, and have lost just one league game in their last 15.
Simon Moore played in four of Brentford’s five npower League One matches in November.
He kept clean sheets against Sheffield United and Swindon Town as Brentford beat both their promotion rivals and conceded just two goals in four games overall.
The winners of both awards will be announced on Friday, December 14.
