Brentford Football Club has been advised that should The Bees be involved in an FA Cup with Budweiser Fourth Round tie against Chelsea, the match will be televised.
The Bees will face Southend United in a Third Round Replay on Tuesday, January 15, for a place in the Fourth Round.
The winner of the tie will be at home to current FA Cup and UEFA Champions League holders Chelsea in the Fourth Round.
ESPN, one of the partner broadcasters for the FA Cup, has chosen Southend United or Brentford v Chelsea for live broadcast on Fourth Round weekend.
The tie will be played at 12noon on Sunday January 27.
Details concerning ticketing for the potential tie will be announced in due course if appropriate.
