Brentford Football Club is working hard on improvements to the ticketing system to ensure all new functionalities are in place for the first home game of the 2014/15 Sky Bet Championship season against Charlton Athletic.
The Bees have three home pre-season friendlies – against OGC Nice on Saturday July 26, RCD Espanyol on Wednesday July 30 and Crystal Palace on Saturday August 2 at 3pm.
They then play Charlton on the first day of the Championship season, Saturday August 9.
As announced earlier today, the Club has signed a new agreement with Advanced Ticketing and TeamCard to install an electronic ticketing and access control system at Griffin Park.
There has been investment in new entry hardware and software so all tickets and Season Cards will be read electronically on all entry gates.
There will no longer be the option to pay on the turnstiles for any match at Griffin Park.
With the ongoing changes being worked on, tried and tested at the moment, tickets for upcoming home games will go on sale slightly later than the usual one month before the fixture.
The new system will be fully operational shortly and the Club will make a further announcement as to when supporters can start buying tickets for upcoming matches.
It is hoped this will be next week.
