An investigation to find out why some card details of those using Ticket Zone to purchase tickets for the npower League One Play-Off Final in May were compromised is still continuing.
The Club was made aware that some cardholder data from those buying tickets for the match at Wembley online via Ticket Zone had been used fraudulently.
An investigation was launched and the Club issued three statements – here, here and here – to update supporters.
An independent forensic check of the Ticket Zone servers has been completed in the past few days and the Club is now awaiting further details of what, if anything, has been found.
It is hoped there will be further news soon but this process can take some time and it may be weeks before more is known.
The Metropolitan Police is also continuing an investigation in to the fraud and officers are in discussions with Ticket Zone about aspects of that inquiry.
The Club is still in discussions with Ticket Zone and will update supporters when possible.
Brentford FC recognises a great deal of inconvenience has been caused to supporters and wants to get to the truth as quickly as possible.
The Club will not rest until the full details of what has happened have been made public.
It would help the investigation if any supporter contacted by Ticket Zone or the police to give more information about how they bought tickets responded as quickly and as comprehensively as possible.
