Thomas Frank is expecting ‘another big challenge’ at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Bournemouth have shown impressive resilience since their 9-0 defeat to Liverpool at the end of August, which preceded Scott Parker’s departure.
Under the stewardship of interim boss Gary O’Neil, the Cherries have taken five points from their last three games; draws with Wolverhampton Wanderers (0-0) and Newcastle United (1-1) sandwiching a 3-2 victory at Nottingham Forest.
“It’s very impressive,” Thomas told the gathering media.
“After a game like that [defeat to Liverpool], you either fall apart or stick together and show that you’re stronger.
“Bournemouth is a club with a lot of experience; lots of their players have played in the Premier League before.
“It will be another big challenge. Gary and his staff and players have done a very good job. On the results side they’ve had two draws and a win, and the performances have been very solid. They’re difficult to play against. They look good.

“We know they have players that can hurt us. I think [Dominic] Solanke is a very good striker and [Ryan] Christie has done well.
“I remember us playing them in the Championship two years ago and many of the same players are still involved. We played two very even games in the Championship, two very even games in the Play-Offs and I expect another very even game [on Saturday]. Hopefully we’ll come out on top. We’ll go down there and attack.”
