Brentford Manager Uwe Rösler did not hide his delight in talking to Bees Player about the away support expected for Saturday's League One match at Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“That is very special for me, that we have 2,000 people going there,” said Uwe.
“It’s a big turn out away from home, it’s appreciated by the players, coaching staff and manager that we get such great support; I always said our away support is fantastic, and we want to make our supporters proud.
“We’re going there to hopefully get three points, and will have something to cheer.”
Uwe also indicated that with the onset of winter, training methods were altered to cope with the colder climate.
“Obviously, the pitches are heavy, more rain, the temperature goes down, so the players train in a different outfit,” said Uwe.
“If the temperature is lower in the muscles, the higher the possibility you pick up injuries.
“The duration of the training will be a little less, but we want to keep the same intensity, probably over a shorter period of time.
“We’re also hitting into a week where we have three games, we had one extra day this week to re-charge the batteries to be ready for an important week.”
Germany defeated England again at Wembley on Tuesday night, with Uwe clear on why his country is in the ascendancy in international football between the two countries at present.
“German football is all about giving young players the chance to play,” said Uwe.
“I personally believe England has enough talent, until the age of 17/18, England always produce good football players, but what happens from 18 to the beginning of their 20s, that is the problem.
“The Premier League is too strong, it’s the most competitive league, the amount of forgeiners playing in the league is very high, far higher, for example, than Germany.
“In Germany, the clubs have always managed themselves well financially.
“In England, it’s very much about one person owns the club; one year they go for it, and the next year they have to reduce.
“The financial stability in German football is far better, on a lower level, but it gives them the chance to use more home grown talent.”
