Brentford winger Stuart Dallas is out of the Northern Ireland squad for an upcoming UEFA European Championships qualifying fixture.
Northern Ireland will play Hungary on Sunday, September 7, in their first match in the European Championships qualifying campaign.
Mark Warburton, Brentford Manager, said: "Stuart linked up with the squad earlier this week but was sent back to the club by the Northern Ireland medical staff after picking up a grade one quad strain in training.
"Stuart will now be assessed and treated by the Brentford FC medical team.
"We are very hopeful that such an injury takes seven to ten days to clear thus leaving him available for selection for the Brighton fixture."
