Tickets for Brentford’s npower League One fixture against Stevenage on Saturday are now in short supply.
The Bees welcome the Hertfordshire club to TW8 on December 22, their final home game of 2012.
Brentford are running a special promotion for the match with supporters able to pay whatever they are able to get a ticket for the match.
The ‘Pay What You Can’ scheme will see advance match tickets for Brentford fans sold at the price the supporter is able to pay.
The minimum price for a ticket will be £1 and every ticket, whether for adult, senior, student or junior, in The Bees United Stand, The BIAS Stand and The Bill Axbey Stand was up for sale, except those already taken by Season Ticket Holders.
Those who attend the match can also raise money for charity at the same time as when more than £5 is paid for a ticket, the Club will donate 50 per cent of the excess, excluding VAT, to the charity Sport Relief.
The Bees currently sit second in npower League One and could go top of the table if results go their way this weekend.
The promotion has captured the imagination of West London football fans and thousands of tickets are being snapped up every day.
More than 8,500 Bees fans have now secured a ticket for the match and in many areas of the ground there is now limited availability.
There has been high demand for The BIAS Stand terrace, the Ealing Road end of the ground, and this is now SOLD OUT.
In The Bill Axbey Stand, on the New Road side of the ground, there is very limited availability with Blocks B, D and E SOLD OUT.
The only area supporters can get pairs or groups of seats together is at the Ealing Road end of the stand, Block J, the Family Area of the ground
There are single seats available in other Bill Axbey Stand blocks but these are few and far between.
There is also limited availability in The Bees United Stand paddock with only single seats available and very few seats remain in blocks B and D.
There is more availability in Block E of The Bees United Stand.
In order to deal with the increasing demand to see the top-of-the-table clash, the Club has opened up Block A of The Bees United Stand.
In certain areas of Block A there is a restricted view and any supporter who buys one of these seats will be told before they complete their transaction.
Supporters who have not yet purchased their tickets are advised to do so NOW to avoid missing out.
The Griffin Park Ticket Office is currently experiencing a high volume of telephone calls with supporters keen to purchase tickets.
