Areas of Griffin Park are filling up for Brentford’s npower League One fixture against Stevenage on Saturday.
The Bees welcome the Hertfordshire club to TW8 on December 22, their final home game of 2012.
Brentford are running a special promotion for the match with supporters able to pay whatever they are able to get a ticket for the match.
The ‘Pay What You Can’ scheme will see advance match tickets for Brentford fans sold at the price the supporter wants to pay.
The minimum price for a ticket will be £1 and every ticket, whether for adult, senior, student or junior, in The Bees United Stand, The BIAS Stand and The Bill Axbey Stand will be available.
Those who attend the match can also raise money for charity at the same time as when more than £5 is paid for a ticket, the Club will donate 50 per cent of the excess, excluding VAT, to the charity Sport Relief.
The Bees currently sit second in npower League One and could go top of the table if results go their way this weekend.
The promotion has captured the imagination of West London football fans and tickets are flying out of the door.
Well over 7,000 Bees fans have now secured a ticket for the match with thousands snapping up tickets in the last 24 hours.
The demand for certain areas of the ground means there is now limited availability for some tickets.
There has been high demand for The BIAS Stand terrace, the Ealing Road end of the ground and this is now SOLD OUT.
In The Bill Axbey Stand, on the New Road side of the ground, there are few seats remaining in the central areas – Blocks D, E, F and G.
There are single seats available in this area but few pairs or groups of seats together.
In order to deal with the increasing demand to see the top-of-the-table clash, the Club is seeking to open up areas of the ground that would not normally be available.
As such, some restricted view tickets are set to go on sale shortly.
Any supporters who buy a restricted view seat will be told before they complete their transaction.
The Griffin Park Ticket Office is currently experiencing a high volume of telephone calls with supporters keen to purchase tickets.
