The final countdown is on to Christmas and Griffin Park will be a sea of festivity this weekend. After the success of the Club’s Christmas with The Bees event last night, all eyes are now on Brentford’s final home Sky Bet Championship match before Christmas. Burton Albion will take on The Bees in West London on Saturday, 10 December. The first ever competitive meeting between the teams will kick-off at 3pm at Griffin Park and Brentford will be getting in to the Christmas spirit, off the pitch.
Tickets for the match are available starting at just £1 for those under the age of 18 and just £5 for supporters under 24 while adult tickets are just £20 in all areas of Griffin Park. For those that arrive early, there is a special early bird offer with all beer (pints and bottles) just £2 before 2.15pm. And in the Family Tuck Shop – in the New Road Stand – hot dogs will be on sale for just £2 before 2.15pm.
From the time the turnstiles open on Saturday – 12noon for the early gate on the Braemar Road side of the ground and 1.30pm elsewhere – until 2.15pm, Bees fans can take advantage of a special Christmas offer. As well as taking in the special Christmas atmosphere at Griffin Park, any beer bought in The Hive – for Braemar Road and Ealing Road ticket holders – or in one of the bars around the ground will cost just £2, as will hot dogs from the Tuck Shop. This offer must end at 2.15pm and only applies to transactions completed before that time. Any fan wishing to make the most of the promotion must ensure they have completed their purchase before 2.15pm.
With the shortest day of 2016 approaching this will be a rare Griffin Park Saturday afternoon under the floodlights. The Bees will be looking to bounce back to winning ways and Brentford supporters can play their part in getting behind the team in the last home game before Christmas.
