Sergi Canos has been included in Luis de la Fuente's 18 man squad for the Elite Round of qualifying as Spain look to make this summer's Under-19 European Championships. The reigning champions take on Greece, Georgia and England on home soil later his month with qualification for July's finals in Germany up for grabs.
The Iberians begin against Greece on Thursday 24th March in Lepe before facing Georgia 48 hours later in Cartaya. Their final match is against England on Tuesday 29th March, back in Lepe, with the group winners progressing directly to the finals.
Sergi, one of two British based players in the squad, earned his second cap for Spain's Under-19s earlier this month in a 2-1 friendly win over Serbia, his first coming in a defeat to Italy in January. The winger, on loan with The Bees from Liverpool until the end of the season, has scored four goals in 29 league and cup appearances since joining The Bees back in August.
