Sergi Canos has been called up to Spain’s Under-19 squad for a training camp from 26 to 28 October 2015. The camp will be held at the Spanish national team’s training base in Madrid; the headquarters is known as ‘La Ciudad de Fútbol’ [The City of Football].
This is in preparation for two international youth friendly matches, both against Latvia, on 2 and 3 November 2015. He is the only player from a team outside of Spain to be included in the squad.
He has not represented Spain at this level before but made ten appearances for the Under-17 side. Since arriving on loan from Liverpool Sergi has made six appearances for Brentford.
