Richard Lee, who played for Brentford for five years until his retirement this summer, will return to Griffin Park this Saturday to sign copies of the recently published book on the club called Ahead Of The Game.
The book is a 408 page compilation of the best blog posts written by Brentford supporter Greville Waterman, together with new content, which includes an essay from Richard. Written in an article format from June 2014 to May 2015, the book takes a look at Brentford’s first year back in the second tier for 22 years.
Richard and Greville will be in the Brentford Club Shop from 1.30pm onwards until kick-off to sign purchased copies. The book offers commentary and insights into selected matches, players, plus off-field developments over the course of 12 months at Griffin Park. Ahead Of The Game also details episodes from the Club’s earlier history, characters from years past, trivia, and observations for the future.
Retailing at £15.99, the book is available for purchase now in-store at the Stadium Shop or can be bought online.
