Brentford’s new adidas home shirt for the 2013/14 season is now, unfortunately, not likely to go on sale for another two weeks.
The Club announced in March a new partnership with adidas to become Brentford’s new Official Kit Supplier commencing with season 2013/14.
adidas, the world’s biggest football brand, will offer Brentford fans a much wider range of branded merchandise and apparel, within a rebranded and refurbished Club Shop.
The Club was initially expecting delivery of all replica kit and training wear in early June and had planned to launch the new red and white home shirt on Saturday June 29.
However, there has been a delay to the arrival of the kit at The Bees Superstore and that delay is still continuing.
adidas have informed the Club that the new home kit will now arrive around July 16 with training wear due later in the month, the away kit due on July 30 and long sleeve shirts not now expected until August.
The delay has also affected the playing staff with new Brentford kit and training wear not yet delivered for the Club’s professional or Academy squads.
The Club would like to apologise to any supporters that have ordered shirts expecting to have them delivered by now.
The delay was beyond the control of The Bees Superstore.
Supporters that have ordered the kit have not yet been charged for it and no money will be taken for existing or new orders until the order can be fulfilled.
The Bees Superstore is closed this week and due to reopen on Monday July 8 at 10am.
Work to decorate the shop with adidas branding is on-going but unfortunately there are very few Brentford adidas products to sell.
Precise details of when the kit will be launched will follow in due course.

Short sleeve adult shirts will be £39.99 with long sleeve shirts available for £41.99.
Child sizes of the replica shirt will be £30.99 short sleeve and £32.99 long sleeve while mini kits, available for those under the age of five are £36.99.
Adult black adidas Brentford shorts will be available for £25 with socks £10, child shorts will be £20 and socks £8.99.
The home goalkeeper kit – which can be seen here on new goalkeeper Jack Bonham – is also available to pre-order.
Adults goalkeeper shirts will cost £41.99 with shorts £25 and socks £10.
Child size goalkeeper shirts will be available for £32.99 with shorts £20 and socks £8.99
Adult shirts will be available in sizes small to 3XL while child sizes are from extra small youth to extra-large youth.
