Brentford B will open their 2022/23 London Senior Cup campaign when they face Corinthian-Casuals on Tuesday evening at the Laithwaite Community Stadium in a 7:30pm kick-off.
The young Bees will be aiming to defend the trophy that they lifted at the end of the 2021/22 season as they play their First Round fixture against the side from the Isthmian Premier Division.
The match will be played at the home of Woking FC following damage to the clubhouse at Corinthian-Casuals’ stadium which meant the fixture needed to move to another venue.
The opposition
Corinthian-Casuals were last in action on Saturday away from home as they faced Canvey Island where they slipped to a narrow 2-1 defeat. Bradley Sach got the opener for Canvey on 10 minutes before Evans Kouassi doubled the side’s lead just before the 20-minute mark. Casuals did manage to pull a goal back late on through Elijah Simpson, but they were unable to draw level as the home side claimed the points. Corinthian-Causals are 21st in their league table after seven matches- they had their previous game postponed following the damage at their stadium. They are on five points so far following one win, two draws and four losses. Tony Reid is in charge of the side having taken the role in May 2022. He previously managed sides such as Walton & Hersham as well a Westfield.
