There are only hours left to bid for a unique piece of Brentford memorabilia. The Club have teamed up with Football League sponsor Sky Bet to auction match-worn, signed shirts in aid of The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.
The Bees played in a new third kit at Blackburn Rovers on Saturday 7 November, which is not available for public sale. The kit, to be used this season when the Club’s home and away kits clash both with opponents colours, is black with grey and white trim, and for this game only, was emblazoned with the official Legion Poppy.
In addition, the match ball used in the fixture is also up for auction. Last year, Sky Bet and the Championship clubs worked together to raise over £118,000 for The Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal through the #BidToRemember campaign.
All money raised this year will go towards supporting vital services such as The Royal British Legion’s Family Holiday Breaks, which provides the families of serving and ex-Service personnel the chance to take a break away from the strains of everyday life.
