Earlier this afternoon, after a morning's training, Jake Bidwell, Alan Judge, Alan McCormack, Sam Saunders, Toumani Diagouraga, David Button and Josh McEachran went to West Middlesex Hospital with presents - donated by the First Team squad and supporters - and distributed a number of them to the youngsters in the Starlight and Sunshine wards.
Thanks to the generosity of the staff and supporters of Brentford FC more than 100 presents were donated in what has become an annual initiative. Such was the number of presents that there were too many to be distributed in one session and the nurses and staff who service these wards will use their own experience to distribute the remaining presents.
The staff and children of the Starlight and Sunshine wards pass on their thanks to the players and supporters for helping to spread some Christmas cheer.
