Ose Aibangee said the changes in the First Team structure would give new learning opportunities for staff throughout the Club.
Brentford have appointed new Co-Directors of Football – Rasmus Ankersen and Phil Giles – over the summer with new coaching staff including Head Coach Marinus Dijkhuizen, his assistant Roy Hendriksen and Head of Football Philosophy and Player Development Flemming Pedersen.
Ose said he had worked with coaches from all over Europe during his career and had benefited from it.
“There are new Sporting Directors and a new Head Coach,” he said.
“The structure is similar but there are new personnel.
“That’s an Academy Director’s job.
“You learn to work with different people, they have different ideas they can bring.
“I was fortunate at Tottenham Hotspur to work with Dutch and Spanish coaches, you learn from them.
“You learn different ways to developing players, they will have ideas and we can learn from them.”
Brentford finished fifth in the Sky Bet Championship last season and reached the Play-Off Semi-Finals.
New players have come in to the Club over the summer and Ose said there was a pressure on the Academy to produce youngsters to compete with the current squad.
But he said that was a good pressure and he wanted to produce Premier League footballers.
“I have always said that I don’t want to develop League One players,” said Ose.
“My background is at Premier League academies, I want to develop players that can compete at the highest level, the Premier League and for their countries.
“It makes it more challenging to get players through but I don’t see it as a different challenge.
“I see no reason why we won’t be in the Premier League in the next year and we will have players that can help the First Team squad.”
Ose said his players could kick on and play in the Football League, up to Sky Bet Championship level and beyond, if given the chance.
Players from Brentford’s Academy – Luke Norris, Aaron Pierre, Alfie Mawson – have played regularly in the lower leagues in recent years and Ose said everyone took confidence from former Bees doing well.
He said younger players could surpass the achievements of that trio.
“Having guys out there playing in the Football League gives everyone confidence,” said Ose.
“We didn’t have a lot of time players like Luke, Alfie and Aaron, they were here when we arrived but we have worked with them to get them to the level they have.
“The difference now is we have players that are 16 or 17 and have been with us since they were 12 or 13, we feel we have had more input with them.
“Those are the players we think can go beyond League One and Two.
“They are good enough in terms of talent and work ethic.
“They have to kick on and get the opportunity, I am sure they will do well.”
