Brentford Bees beat their counterparts from Queens Park Rangers Trust 4-2 last Wednesday to make it back-to-back league wins for the side.
The Bees are one of two Brentford sides formed following a partnership between Brentford's Academy and West Thames College which sees boys between 16 and 19 train, study and compete in the Football Conference Youth Alliance.
After three weeks without a game The Bees got back to speed quickly and enjoyed a fine victory over their West London neighbours in the Home Counties and South West Division
The win moves The Bees level on points with Oxford United and just three points behind fourth placed Southampton (Sparsholt) ahead of tomorrow's match at home to high-flying Oxford United, played at Osterley Sports Club on Tentelow Lane.
It wasn't such a good week for Brentford Griffins in the London and South East Division as they lost 1-0 away at Watford CSE.
Substitute Alfred Bobb-Baxter scored the only goal of the game as Brentford conceded for only the second time in six matches in falling to defeat.
The result ended a two game winning run and means the Griffins remain sixth after nine games, having only conceded eight goals.
There is no match for the Griffins this week and indeed they are not in action again until the New Year.
Speaking after the two results Youth Alliance Head Coach Dan Wright said: "A mixed set of results today with the Griffins losing 1-0 and the Bees securing 3 points with 4-2 win at home versus QPR.
"On the Griffins side it was a difficult result to take, but another performance to be pleased with despite the lack of goals.
"In the first 20 minutes we had 3 chances to score and were denied by the post and the man of the match was their goalkeeper who was superb throughout.
"The Bees did really well with a good performance and result, Maxi was pleased with the team and particularly happy with Alfie Congerton who managed to grab a brace.”
