The Danes took 17 points from a possible 21 to snatch second-place and set up a winner-takes-all encounter against an Irish team who lost just once in qualifying under Martin O'Neill.

Bafana Bafana's equation is simple: beat Senegal home and away and they will book their spot at next summer's World Cup.
