While Brentford travel to Scunthorpe United for an npower League One fixture on Saturday, clubs up and down the country will be marking lower level football.
Saturday October 13 is Non-League Day, where amateur and semi-professional football is celebrated.
Non-League Day is designed to help promote hundreds of football clubs that are supported by their local communities and almost exclusively run by volunteers.
Many clubs offer deals to supporters of nearby top-level clubs who are either not playing due to the international break or are away from home, like The Bees.
Two of Brentford’s neighbours are offering special deals to Bees fans who cannot make the trip to Scunthorpe on Saturday.
Hampton and Richmond Borough – a Ryman Premier League side who play at The Beveree in Hampton – have a deal running for the whole of the 2012/13 season offering reduced entry for Bees fans.
Any Bees fan who turns up at The Beveree for a Hampton First Team match with a Brentford Season Ticket, BIAS membership card or Bees United membership card, can gain entry for just £6 for adults, £3 for concessions or FREE for children.
Hampton are second in the Ryman Premier League and play top-of-the-table Whitehawk at The Beveree on Saturday.
Ashford Town (Middlesex) FC – who play in the Evo-Stick Southern League Division One Central – are offering Brentford Season Ticket Holders FREE admission to their game on Saturday.
Ashford, who play at the Robert Parker Stadium in Stanwell, face Biggleswade Town on Saturday.
Ashford are currently tenth in the table while Biggleswade are fifth.
