Coventry City Manager Mark Robins has been named the npower League One Manager of the Month for December, beating Brentford boss Uwe Rösler to the award.
Brentford’s continuing unbeaten npower League One run was recognised as Uwe was nominated alongside Mark Robins and AFC Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe for the award.
The Bees are now unbeaten in 12 league games and have lost just one in 17 in all competitions.
In December, The Bees picked up 10 points in npower League One from a possible 12.
They won away to Notts County and Colchester United, as well as drawing with Shrewsbury Town, and beat Milton Keynes Dons at Griffin Park.
Brentford also beat Bradford City in an FA Cup with Budweiser Second Round Replay.
But Coventry four and drew one of their five league games in December – including away wins against promotion-chasers Doncaster Rover, Milton Keynes Dons and Stevenage.
They also beat Morecambe in the FA Cup with Budweiser and Sheffield United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy and scored 19 goals in seven games in the month.
That form gave Mark Robins the award.
Uwe was also nominated for the npower League One Manager of the Month award in November, a prize won by Eddie Howe.
Uwe discusses the Manager of the Month nomination during a video interview which will appear on Bees Player shortly.
