Brentford scholar Kyjuon Marsh-Brown was left out of the Antigua and Barbuda team for a surprise defeat to St Lucia overnight.
The 17-year-old was called in to the full international squad by the Caribbean nation for their first 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
But he was not selected for the North, Central America and Caribbean Second Round First Leg game against St Lucia last night, Wednesday 10 June.
Antigua and Barbuda started as favourites but were beaten 3-1 at home.
The second leg, which is also being held in Antigua as St Lucia do not have a ground available, will be played on Sunday, 14 June.
If Antigua and Barbuda do manage to overturn the deficit, they will have a further home-and-away tie and two group stages to get through before they make the World Cup.
