Brentford Football Club have been informed that the Sky Bet Championship match away to Blackburn Rovers next week will not be affected by an FA Cup fixture clash.
The Bees will face the Lancashire club at Ewood Park next Tuesday, March 17, in a match that will kick-off at 7.45pm.
Blackburn drew 0-0 with Liverpool in an FA Cup Sixth Round tie yesterday, Sunday March 8, and will face the Premier League side in a replay to decide the Semi-Final spot.
Contrary to some initial suggestions, the replay will not be held next week.
Brentford have been informed by Blackburn they expect the game to be in early April.
As such Brentford’s match next week will go ahead as normal.
