Denmark head into their final two qualifiers knowing their equation is a simple one: better Montengro’s results and a place in the Play-Offs for Russia 2018 should be there’s. Thursday’s game in the Montenegrin capital is a huge one with the two sides on the same points, goal difference, and goals scored after eight qualifying games. The hosts have the advantage after their 1-0 win in Copenhagen last season but Andreas and Henrik have helped their nation take 13 points from a possible 15 to leave qualification still in their hands, especially with Montenegro heading to group leaders Poland in their final game. Indeed, two wins for Denmark and a Poland slip-up in either of their games would open the door for The Danes to snatch automatic qualification at the final fence.

Bafana Bafana head into Saturday’s game knowing that anything less than a win would, in all likelihood, spell an end to their hopes of qualifying for Russia 2018. Stuart Baxter’s side currently prop up Group D with one point from their three games, five behind table-topping Burkina Faso. With only the top team qualifying, South Africa know they need to win all three of their remaining games to stand any real chance of making it to Russia.

The Auld Enemy face off on Teeside this Friday as qualifying for the 2019 European Championships in Italy heats up. Scotland opened their account with a 2-0 victory over Netherlands in their opener while the Young Lions have taken four points from their opening two games in Group 4. The following Tuesday, Theo and his teammates travel East to take on fourth placed Latvia who have two points from their opening three games.
