Neil Greig has thanked the Brentford fans, staff and players that dug deep in to their pockets and helped him raise thousands on his London Marathon run.
The Brentford FC Head of Medical was one of tens of thousands of people that completed the 2015 Virgin Money London Marathon last month.
Neil covered the 26.2 mile course from Blackheath to The Mall in 3:23:15 on April 26.
He was raising money for Havens Hospices, a charity that provides respite and care for adults and children at the end of their lives.

That total was boosted by donations from Brentford’s players, staff and fans.
Neil said: “I would like to thank everyone from Brentford FC, especially the fans, that contributed to my fund-raising effort.
“Our masseur Chris Domoney works with Havens Hospices and has done for years.
“When an opportunity came up to run the marathon for a charity I wanted to choose one we had a link with and I was proud to run for them.
“I was initially hoping to raise £4,000 but, thanks to the help of the Brentford FC community, went well beyond that.
“The money will be a great help to the hospice and I again thank all Bees fans for their support.”
