Ben Mee praised the 'exceptional' performance that earned us a 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace on Tuesday night.
The centre-back has been a mainstay in the Brentford defence this season, starting all five games.
And the former Burnley man lauded fellow defenders Aaron Hickey and Rico Henry for their involvement at Selhurst Park.
Ben said after the game: “It was another late goal - it’d be nice to go ahead and hang on for once!
“I feel like we bossed the game. First half, we were exceptional. The performances of the full-backs were brilliant; Aaron and Rico on either side were fantastic. We looked really threatening; going long, coming short.
“We expected a reaction [from Crystal Palace] second half. Zaha’s quality, he showed that, he had one chance and stuck it in the top corner. That’s the Premier League.
“But, again, we dug in, we came back fighting, and we could’ve nicked it.”
It was the fourth time in five games that we had come from behind to find an equalising goal, which has seen us gain three points from losing positions already this campaign.
And Ben insisted that more performances like that, as well as continuing to show fight and determination, will lead to more positive results this season.
When asked about Thomas' substitutions, he said: “I think everyone saw the impact. Vitaly dropped in at centre-back and he looked threatening even coming from that position.
“And then you’ve got Josh getting on the ball and Wissa coming up with the goal."
He added: “I enjoy playing with this team, it’s fantastic, some of the quality that we’ve got really showed tonight.
“The togetherness and mentality of this group really showed as well. If we keep playing like that, we’ll get wins and cause teams problems.”
