Maxime Colin has been recognised by the Football League for his performance in The Bees 3-1 win over Ipswich Town on Saturday.
The right back, who recently returned from injury, created The Bees second goal as Dean Smith's side concluded their perfect week with a third win in seven days. After wins over Nottingham Forest and Bolton Wanderers The Bees overcame a serious injury to Alan Judge to wrap up a third consecutive success. Sam Saunders opened the scoring before the break and Lasse Vibe made it 2-0 midway through the second-half, heading home Colin's low cross. The Danish striker made it 3-0 shortly after, taking his week's tally to five goals. The Tractor Boys grabbed a late consolation through Liam Feeney but The Bees were not to be denied consecutive away wins.
Maxime's work at both ends of the pitch saw him selected in the Football League Team of the week. The team, published on the Football League website, is drawn from the performances over the previous weekend's action in all Sky Bet Football League divisions.

Maxime is the fifth Brentford player to be named in the Football League selection this season. James Tarkowski was included following the 2-2 draw with Ipswich Town on the opening day while Alan Judge's brace against Rotherham United in October and John Swift's double against Wolverhampton Wanderers in February saw them both included. Last midweek saw Lasse Vibe included after his brace in the 3-1 win over Bolton Wanderers.
